Rules and Regulations
ALL PERSONS MUST REGISTER EACH VEHICLE/RV BEFORE PROCEEDING TO A CABIN OR CAMPSITE, INCLUDING VISITORS.
What to Bring:
Bring Bedding, Towels, tea towels, etc.
Don't forget your axe and wiener sticks, and also camp chairs and a fan if you expect hot weather.
Some people may want to bring their own pillow so you get a familiar nights sleep.
All cabins come equipped with pots and pans, dishes, etc. If you have a favourite frypan feel free to bring it along.
Kids love it if you bring toys, games. bikes, etc.
RULES:
ATV riding in our camp is strictly walking speed, to enter and exit only, and quietly. You will be asked to load ATV if not. There are no marked trails in the area.
Extra Plug In appliances put a drain on our limited electrical supply so please use electricity wisely. Turn off lights when not in use. Extra charges may apply if we feel too much electricity is being used.
Small cabins do not have bbq's. If bringing one, please protect our property with cardboard/wood and DO NOT STAIN our wood picnic tables or decks with oil!
DO NOT POUR GREASE OR OIL IN BUSHES OR FIREPIT OR DOWN SINK/TOILET/SHOWERS! Put oil back in containers or ask where to dispose of it.
Sunflower Seeds: Please do not spit on the ground, use a cup. $25 fine if we have to clean them up!
Booking and CANCELLATION POLICY FOR CABINS AND CAMPSITES:
Your reservations are as important to you as they are to us. To confirm your reservation we require:
SEASONAL AND MONTHLY CAMPSITES: a 50% non-refundable deposit via credit card; or to save some fees, an e-transfer to greenlakelodge@yahoo.com. We must have a current credit card number on file. The balance is due upon check in, the day you arrive.
CABINS AND Short term Campsites: To confirm your reservation we require a valid credit card on file. The Rental is due upon check in, the day you arrive.
Cancellations: All cancellations must be received by telephone (306)832-2070, thirty (30) or more days prior to arrival day or the remaining fees will be charged in full including our 5% GLL fee. No Shows or less then 30 days notice, you WILL BE CHARGED IN FULL FOR ALL YOUR BOOKED DAYS. No refunds on Early Departures. By providing your Credit Card Number at time of booking with Green Lake Lodge you hereby agree to this cancellation policy.
Cancellation Insurance can be purchased at various companies. One recommendation is RBC, http://www.rbcinsurance.com/travel/coveragechart/coveragecomparison.html
Pets
Pets are only welcomed if accompanied by owner and on a leash, however, they are NOT allowed in our Cabins unless they are in their crate and not permitted to walk around the cabin. Please accompany your dog and pick up their poop--don't leave their mess in the grass! Your Credit Card will be charged $25 for clean-up if you bring your dog and we have to clean up poop messes. Please don't abandon your pet and leave your neighbors to endure the disturbance.
Fires:
For Forest Fire safety, as well as for our livelihood, please keep fire low in pits. Firewood can be purchased for $5.00 per bundle or $40 for a Side by Side Box full. Please order it before 5:00pm and it will be delivered to you. Only "Saskatchewan license plates" may bring in firewood and it must be pre-cut small enough to fit inside firepits. No used lumber to be burned. Absolutely NO cutting of trees or shrubs on our property. For fire and safety reasons, NO use of chainsaw on our property unless you have our permission.
Vistors:
DAY PASSES FOR VISITORS AVAILABLE $3.00 PER PERSON.
(DOES NOT INCLUDE FREE SHOWERS. A SHOWER IS AVAILABLE FOR $5.00 PER PERSON)
VISITORS MUST EXIT THE PROPERTY BEFORE 11:00PM
Donations:
We are always grateful for donations so if you have anything that you don't need anymore and still is in good condition, please either bring it along or call us to see if we could use that item: Mattresses, Fridges, Stoves, Hot Water Heaters, Couches, Chairs, Coffee Pots, Toasters etc are always needed to upgrade what is already in the cabins. For smaller items you want to donate, please bring to store or leave on counter or in fridge and we will disperse or donate.
Fireworks:
July 1st is our fireworks display, if weather permits. If you have fireworks (at anytime of the season), PLEASE ask if you can fire them or better yet, ask the Owner if he can fire them for you.
